Longriser Technology
Our Longriser technology works! Short parallel limbs mounted on a longer more stable shooting platform is the future of compound bow design and we are leading the way. Our Zeus at 38”ATA has a 36” riser, and is the longest in the world. Our Retribution at 33”ATA has a 31” riser which is usually found only in a much longer axel to axel bow. It is bow engineering 101 that say’s during the shot cycle, less moving mass decreases harmonic vibration and lowers the decibel of noise and shock. A short parallel limb configuration minimizes the forward lunge at the shot. All our design work rotates around this concept. If half your bow is moving mass, meaning that half of your bows length is made up of flexing limbs, one would only expect shock, vibration, and sound to increase. Our testing has proven it!
Advanced Limb Harness System
Limb pockets are a thing of the past at MaitlandUSA. We have created a system that has no vertical or horizontal shifting of the limbs and is consistent shot after shot no matter what the conditions. Our draw weight adjustment block is more stable than a standard limb pocket system because no matter what angle you have on the limb when adjusting draw weight, the force on the limb remains the same. Your limbs do not rock or pivot out of a pocket losing much needed support. The limb pivot area extends out 5” from the draw weight adjustment block supporting the limb closer to center dampening vibration and minimizing limb oscillation. The same design strength used in engineering a bridge structure made the riser ends indestructible with no flex.
VTX Hybrid Cam System
By far the smoothest drawing cam system on the market today! Peak weight starts early and continues its fluid arc to an 80% let off valley that you never knew you dropped into. No slop at the valley and a solid brick is the only way to describe the back wall. The draw curve was designed with the hunter and the target archer in mind. Draw length adjustments are accomplished with three rotating modules and can be adjusted in 1/8” increments if needed. We are the only company today to offer this type of adjustment.
VTR Cam System
Fast, Efficient and Smooth. The new hybrid speed cam for 2011 has it all. Dual cable draw stops, modulated draw length adjustment that maintains efficiency no matter what the draw length, 75% or 65% let off, easy change without a press and a draw cycle that is second to none. Speed without the stack!
Full Reach Grip
Narrow side plates that are not only contoured to your hand but insulate the throat of the grip all the way to where your thumb and index finger overlap the grip. No ridges or cutouts in that area means total comfort.
Dual Stabilizer Mounting (Zeus)
If you are looking at options for balance and stability, we offer it in the Zeus. It’s the only bow on the US market to have two positions for mounting weight and stabilizers to the riser. By placing weight at the lower mounting hole a plumb bob effect can be accomplished which equates to quicker and easier vertical alignment of the bow. Your sight bubble will thank you for this. At the same time the upper mounting hole gives you the ability to place your favorite stabilizer or V-bar system without interfering with the lower mounted accessories. Now you have the best of both worlds and no excuse to miss when you actually make it to the final shoot off in Vegas shaking like an aspen leaf and forget to check your bubble.
